Graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Finance (1994). Graduate of the University of Southern California Law School with a Juris Doctor degree (Law)(1998).
His experience, before venturing out into private law practice, includes stressed-asset management at Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. of Los Angeles, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of multi-million dollar real estate, commercial (aircraft financing) and project financing deals. His pre-law experience also includes investment and client services at Barclays Global Investors in San Francisco, California.
After his graduation from law school, he worked for a prestigious law firm in Oakland, California, Filice Brown, representing a number of national oil refineries, Tosco, ChevronTexaco, Shell Oil Company, UNOCAL, and Phillips Petroleum. After his four-year stint at the law firm, he branched out and started his private law practice based in Los Angeles, focusing on business fraud and unfair business practices where he has successfully obtained millions of dollars in damages in trial and through Alternate Dispute Resolution. |
